Out of School Time – SNAP-Ed Trainings

Healthy Lifestyle teams attend three HealthMPowers trainings each year. The trainings are designed to empower OST teams to implement the HealthMPowers program and provide training on the National Afterschool Association Healthy Eating Physical Activity (NAA HEPA) Standards. Based on the results from a NAA HEPA needs assessment, the teams create and implement an action plan to address areas needing improvement. The trainings provide team members with the information, skills and resources they need to provide on-site support and resources to their club’s staff, students and families.
