Power Up for 30 – Elementary

Power Up for 30 is a statewide initiative supported by the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) to increase physical activity during the school day in Georgia elementary schools using the Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program Model (CSPAP) promoted by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Through Power Up for 30, participating schools receive a one-day, eight-hour professional development workshop, technical support, PA resources and recognition opportunities. Since 2013, HealthMPowers has served as the training partner for this initiative. The initiative will continue throughout the 2015-2016 schools year, with a goal of reaching every Georgia elementary school.
