HealthMPowers Welcomes First Youth Member to Board of Directors

(NORCROSS, GA)—HealthMPowers has announced a new member to its board of directors: Rohan Rajpurohit.

Rohan Rajpurohit, a Senior at Lambert High School makes history as the first youth to ever serve on the HealthMPowers Board of Directors. Along with an impressive history of health advocacy, Rohan joined the HealthMPowers community earlier this summer as the chair of the inaugural HealthMPowers Youth Advisory Board (YAB).

Rohan Rajpurohit is the first youth member of the Board of Directors and brings enthusiasm for elevating and integrating youth voices. Rohan is a senior at Lambert High School in Forsyth County, serving as Vice President of his school’s humanitarian healthcare club (Doctors Without Borders, a branch of the UGA Friends of MSF chapter), and participates in several extra- curricular activities. He especially enjoys supporting community outreach programs that promote health access, advocacy, and well-being. This includes his service with Walk with a Doc at Emory’s Urban Health Initiative, and the Youth Advisory Council at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Rohan built a deeper awareness and appreciation for public health while participating in the CDC Museum’s Public Health Academy summer course and subsequent internship. His interests surround how the intersection of health research, business, and technology converge for the betterment of communities. Additionally, Rohan enjoys exercising, composing music, singing, and reading.
