Even when we think we are making a good selection, we can be fooled. Come learn how to “rethink your drink” so you can help yourself and your family make healthier, smarter sips! Go, Slow, Whoa Physical Activity Come learn some no cost, “I’m Short-on-Time” activities that you can incorporate into your day that will help you and your family feel better. Not only will you learn and share physical activity ideas, but there are GIVE-A-WAYS! These free sessions are only 30 minutes but packed with fun, conversation and chances to taste fruit/vegetable infused water! Success Story Hometown market is really making process in promoting healthy eating habits in their community. As part of their partnership with HealthMPowers, they allow HealthMPowers to conduct nutrition education classes at the store. Also, as a result of the nutrition education class conducted on “Rethink Your Drink” customers were amazed at the amount of sugar in the types drinks they would intact on a daily basis. This demonstration alone changed the minds of customers to try the cucumber lemon infused water and put away the sugary drinks. Customers are making those healthy choices one step at a time.
